Biography

Through jury trials, arbitrations and settlements, I have regularly obtained significant results for my clients, including my firm Sugarman & Sugarman, P.C.'s largest medical malpractice award in 2016 and a $30.55 million verdict in 2019 with my partner Ben Zimmermann, which is among the highest medical malpractice verdicts in Massachusetts history. I have represented clients in claims involving wrongful death and serious injury in a broad range of civil practice, including claims resulting from defective consumer products, motor vehicles and industrial equipment, medical negligence, construction site negligence, motor vehicle accidents, and other complex litigation claims.
